Our goal is to foster communication development through a holistic, neurodiversity-affirming approach, tailored to each child’s unique needs.

Augmentative and Alternative communication

We provide AAC evaluations, therapy, and trial support to help individuals build reliable, meaningful communication.

Speech & Language Therapy

In-person therapy sessions are 30 minutes, with parent training and caregiver involvement for effective home carryover. We support speech sound disorders and late talkers with early intervention.

Virtual
Therapy

30-minute teletherapy sessions offer flexibility, convenience, and immediate home-based communication support.

Gestalt Language Processing

We support gestalt language processors using the NLA framework, guiding them from scripts to self-generated language through child-led therapy.

I’m Amy!

I’m a speech therapist, professional development speaker, parent coach and the founder of Speech Therapy Connections.

This practice was created with one clear mission: to provide therapy and coaching that teaches families and professionals how to honor each unique child’s needs and embrace them for who they are.

“I wish we would have found you sooner…” is something I hear from parents constantly”. Exploring topics like Autism, AAC, delayed echolalia, and language delays can feel like a daunting process.

Rather than relying on asking questions in random Facebook groups, getting lost in endless research on the internet, or bouncing from therapist to therapist, you can rely on my expertise to help you with navigate this journey with you.

How Do I Get Started?

At Speech Therapy Connections, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to communicate confidently and effectively. Our neurodiversity-affirming approach is tailored to each child’s unique needs, whether they’re struggling with speech sound disorders, late talking, or using delayed echolalia to communicate. We work closely with families, providing not only therapy but also practical strategies for home success.

Amy opened us up to the world of AAC, in such a calm and zero pressure way. Her knowledge and enthusiasm has helped our little guy with communication so much. He’s made leaps and bounds since starting therapy with her and we will be forever grateful!"

I would follow Amy to the ends of the world, she is a breath of fresh air and is very knowledgeable about the field of speech therapy."
