What you have to say matters. Let us help you find your voice.

I’m Amy!

I’m a speech therapist, professional development speaker, parent coach and the founder of Speech Therapy Connections.

This practice was created with one clear mission: to provide therapy and coaching that teaches families and professionals how to honor each unique child’s needs and embrace them for who they are.

“I wish we would have found you sooner…” is something I hear from parents constantly”. Exploring topics like Autism, AAC, delayed echolalia, and language delays can feel like a daunting process.

Rather than relying on asking questions in random Facebook groups, getting lost in endless research on the internet, or bouncing from therapist to therapist, you can rely on my expertise to help you with navigate this journey with you.

Here’s How We Can Work Together

Speech Therapy

Our therapy services are focused on supporting the pediatric population and are specialized in supporting autistic children. Areas of expertise include augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), gestalt language processing, language delays, and picky eating.

Parent Coaching

In our ten-week, parent coaching program, we will work together to help you become a confident communication partner. I will provide you with the skills and support you need to help your child develop their communication skills effectively.

Professional Mentorship

We offer professional mentorship for educators and therapists seeking to deepen their understanding of AAC and gestalt language processing. Additionally, we provide professional development presentations at school districts and conferences, sharing insights and best practices on these important topics.

  • "Amy is truly a master at what she does, and she always has a bright & happy smile. Her warm and inviting nature is a pleasure to be around and learn from. Amy opened us up to the world of AAC, in such a calm and zero pressure way. Her knowledge and enthusiasm has helped our little guy with communication so much. He’s made leaps and bounds since starting therapy with her and we will be forever grateful!"

    - Mom of an AAC user

  • "Simply the BEST speech therapist I have ever met. As a speech therapist myself, I was lucky enough to find Amy for both my children. My son is on the autistic spectrum and has flourished with her...she uses neuro-affirming practices that I believe in whole heartedly! I would follow Amy to the ends of the world, she is a breath of fresh air and is very knowledgeable about the field of speech therapy."

    - Mom of an autistic son

  • "Amy was SO helpful coaching me about an AAC client I have! She helped me know how to program his favorite gestalts and also ways to coach the family so that everyone is on the same page supporting him! I’m so grateful, Amy! Thank you!!!
