What Makes Me Different Than Other Providers?
You and your child are not just another client.
I intentionally have chosen to keep my practice small to provide the focused, personalized care that goes beyond what larger practices may be able to offer. I take the time to learn about your family dynamic and curate an individualized therapy plan that meets not only where your child is at, but where you are at as a parent.
Direct, Consistent Care
There are no rotating therapists or surprises here! As a small, dedicated practice, I personally work with every child and family. You’ll always see me - the same therapist who knows your child’s journey, celebrates their progress, and understands their unique needs.
Open-Door Policy
Want to be more involved in your child’s therapy journey? My therapy room door is always open. Join in on the sessions to learn hands-on strategies, ask questions, and participate to discover how to support your child’s communication at home. Many parents tell me these collaborative sessions are game-changers for their family’s progress. No one knows your child better than you do - that’s why I want to make sure you are equipped with all of the tools and confidence you need to support their communication journey.
What We Can Accomplish Together
-
Our assessments include both standardized and non-standardized assessments. All evaluations are 60 minutes in length and child-led in nature to capture the most accurate representation of your child’s skills. All caregivers are encouraged and welcome to be present to be a part of the process.
-
In-Person therapy sessions are 30 minutes in length. Caregivers are encouraged and are welcome to be present during therapy sessions to observe implementation of strategies for successful home carryover. Parent training will occur during the treatment session or 5 minutes prior to the end of the session.
Speech Sound Disorders: Do others have difficulties understanding your child? Some children have trouble making certain speech sounds and speaking clearly and can benefit from articulation and phonological therapy.
Late Talkers: Are you unsure if your child is a late talker? Early intervention services are critical and designed to provide young children and their families with the support needed to foster optimal speech and communication development.

In our feeding therapy services for picky eaters, we recognize the overwhelming nature of feeding challenges and the importance of viewing each child holistically. Beyond just trying to figure out how to get a child to eat new foods, we understand that mealtime success involves various components. Just like in language therapy, we prioritize establishing relationships built on trust. Our approach goes beyond food trials; we meet your child where they are at and delve into practical strategies for families to implement at home, ensuring a positive mealtime experience.

Teletherapy sessions are 30-minutes in length. Teletherapy offers families flexibility, convenience, and the ability to implement communication strategies immediately within their home environment.

We specialize in working with children who use delayed echolalia to communicate; they are referred to as gestalt language processors and the primary goal of therapy is to provide supports to advance through the Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) framework.
During child-led therapy sessions, you can expect us to acknowledge a child’s scripts and provide new language to help work towards self-generated language!

When individuals are unable to express themselves verbally, it can cause significant frustration and barriers to communicate effectively with others. We help to establish a more reliable communication system through AAC, either through use of gestures, signs, a low tech communication board, or high tech device, to bridge the gap. It is important to note that even individuals who are verbal, but are unable to consistently access verbal communication may benefit from AAC. Therapy sessions will focus on creating that authentic, meaningful communication while also teaching your child how to use their AAC device.
Are you looking to get started with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) for your child? Our comprehensive AAC evaluations are designed just for you. In a relaxed and engaging 60-minute session, essential information is gathered through fun, play-based, child-led activities. Caregivers are extremely involved throughout this entire process. After the initial visit, a trial device is provided to families for approximately a 3-6 week period. During this time, you’ll receive ongoing support tailored to your child’s needs and your own needs as a caregiver. Once the trial period concludes, we will have one final meeting to discuss recommendations, to return the trial device, and answer any lingering questions you may have. If you decide to pursue an AAC device through insurance, guidance will be provided through the funding process.
